Pivio Health Coaches

Pivio is a transformative journey delivered through 18 facilitated group sessions. Organizations have the option to choose an individual on their team to facilitate Pivio or choose an LMI provided Pivio Coach.

We highly recommend that you consider the benefits of using a Pivio Coach. Pivio Coaches are experts in the delivery of Pivio, passionate about lifestyle medicine and are trained in behavior change techniques.

Credentials

All of our Pivio Coaches have the following credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health or related field
  • Certified Health & Wellness Coach and/or National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach

Meet our health coaches

Rachel Garnett is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and is also in the process of being nationally board certified. Formerly a Spanish teacher, she became passionate about helping people adopt healthier habits after she experienced the benefits of lifestyle medicine. Rachel previously facilitated the CHIP program (Pivio’s predecessor) before joining the LMI team.

Rachel earned a master’s degree in language teaching from Michigan State University. She lives in Michigan and enjoys experimenting with new plant-based recipes, gardening and going on walks with her rescue dog.

Stephanie Ross is a Certified Health Education Specialist and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Stephanie is passionate about lifestyle medicine because she believes it is the best strategy to prevent, mitigate, and reverse many chronic health conditions.  

Stephanie earned a master’s degree in Health Education from East Carolina University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Hollins University. She is an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She lives in North Carolina and enjoys reading, traveling and playing the piano.

Diane Magalhaes is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and is also in the process of being nationally board certified and has obtained certifications as a Health Education Specialist (CHES) as well as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS). Diane has a passion for plant-based nutrition. 

Diane earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from Southern CT State University and currently lives in Connecticut. Her favorite pastime is to cook and often modify family recipes from her Portuguese heritage to align with her plant-based lifestyle. 

Katie Costa is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, certified in Lifestyle Medicine and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition. She enjoys working with health coaches-in-training, and is mentor faculty for two nationally board certified health coaching programs. She draws from her background as a Behavior Analyst and School Psychologist to understand best practices in health behavior change. 

Katie earned a master’s degree in psychology and specialist degree in school psychology from Central Michigan University. She earned a post-graduate certification in behavior analysis from Penn State University. She lives in Michigan and enjoys engaging with her local plant-based community. She is an avid cook for her two young children and husband and is most at peace walking in the northern Michigan woods.

Tara Endries is a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach in lifestyle medicine and has over 20 years of combined experience in the fields of holistic health and wellness, fitness, stress management, injury management and cardiac rehabilitation. She specializes in working with clients who seek to improve health and wellness, increase energy and vitality, and decrease risks for chronic disease.

Tara earned a master’s degree in exercise science and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Oregon. One of her greatest passions is providing healthy, delicious culinary guidance to clients who are eager to make lifestyle changes. She lives in Oregon and enjoy hiking, climbing, mountain biking, paddleboarding and escapes to the ocean.

Bridgette Mariea is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and is in the process of being nationally board certified. After 20 years as a founding partner and HR Director of a small business, she became a healthy lifestyle coach, advocate, and educator. For four years, she facilitated the CHIP program (Pivio’s predecessor) with a local municipality which made clear the need to combine coaching with education if participants want lasting change. 

Bridgette earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the Ohio State University and holds a plant based nutrition certificate from CNS.  She lives in Ohio with her husband and has three wonderful young adult children.  Her hobbies include making and eating plant based foods (since 2008), exercise classes, reading, and laughing with family and friends.

Makenzie (Mak) Searle is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She has a big passion for plant-based cooking and completed a plant based professional culinary course. 

Mak earned a master’s degree in public health with a focus on health promotion from National University. She has also earned a double BA from The College of Idaho in physical education & psychology with a minor in coaching.  Mak lives in Idaho and is a foodie that loves cooking. Outside of food she is always trying to find ways to cross country ski, mountain bike, handcycle, participate in CrossFit, meet new people, and soak up lots of sunshine with friends/family. Mak is also a huge dog lover and has a Service dog named Price who brings her even more independence and joy in life.

Charmin Aschenbrener, RDN, CHWC, DipACLM, is the Coach Operations Manager at LMI, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Health Coach, and a Diplomat of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Charmin enjoys exploring new plant based recipes and spending time with family and friends enjoying the great outdoors of Idaho. She is a wife, mother to two teenagers, and dog mom. She is passionate about pursuing health and helping others identify sustainable lifestyle habits that improve the quality of their life.
